Selangor

Selangor is the richest state in Malaysia It is located on the west coast of Peninsular Malaysia and is bordered by Perak to the north, Pahang to the east, Negeri Sembilan to the south and the Strait of Malacca to the west. It completely surrounds the federal territories of Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya. Its land area is 8,104  km² with a population around 5.5 millions. The state capital is Shah Alam and the royal capital is Klang.
