Sabah

After Sarawk Sabah is the second largest state in the country. Its land area is 73,632  km² with a population around 3.2 millions. Sabah is located on the northern portion of the Borneo island. Sabah is bordering Sarawak to the south-west, the province of East Kalimantan of Indonesia to the south, South China Sea to the north-west, Sulu Sea to the north and Selebes Sea to the east. The capital of Sabah is Kota Kinabalu. Sabah is often referred to as "The land below the wind", because of its location just south of the typhoon-prone region around the Philippines.
