Uttarakhand
Uttarakhand is located in northern part of India on the southern slope of the Himalaya Range. The altitude of Uttarakhand varies between 200 m and 7816 m (Nanda Devi Mountain) above sea level. Uttharakhand population is 10 Mio with an area of 53,566 km2. It borders Tibet Autonomous Region on the north, Nepal on the east and Indian states Uttar Pradesh to the south, Haryana to the west and Hymachal Pradesh to the northwest. The capital city is Dehradun.
