Rajasthan

Rajasthan is the largest state of India and is located in north-western part of the country. It encompasses most of the area of the large, inhospitable Great Indian Desert (The Thar Desert). Rajasthan population is 70 Mio with an area of 342,269 km² . It borders Pakistan on the west, Gujarat on the southwest, Madhya Pradesh on the southeast, Uttar Pradesh to the east, Haryana to the northeast and Punjab to the north. The capital city is Jaipur.
