Iberian Architecture

Iberian architecture stated to take shape in parallel with other architectures in the Mediterranean area. A real development came with arrival of the Romans. The Moorish conquest in 8th century lead to a radical change and the following 8 centuries brought great advances in architecture (Cordoba, Granada,..). Simultaneously, the Christian kingdoms gradually emerged and developed their own architectural styles.
