Land Mammals

Land mammals are backboned animals that feed their young on mother's milk. Their bodies are built to maintain just about the same temperature all the time. Mammals are found to exist all over the world in all different climates. Warm blood lets them be very active and live in a wide variety of places. Arctic foxes and polar bears make their home near the North Pole. , camels and coyotes live in hot desert areas. Land mammals also include such fascinating animals as cheetahs, tigers, lions, gorillas, giraffes, rhinoceroses, kangaroos, prairie dogs, pandas and many others.
